Sleep well in our Sweet Dreams pattern bundle featuring our Lavender Robe, Whitechapel PJS and bonus When It All Gets Too Much Eyemask. Each pattern includes three paper sizes (A0, A4, US Letter) + full instructions.
WHITECHAPEL PYJAMAS
The Whitechapel Pyjamas have a boxy style shirt with a button front. The trousers are comfy but not baggy with a slightly tapered leg and an elasticated waist. We provide full instructions for stitching them up with fancy French seams for a comfortable and professional finish – but don’t worry there aren’t too many of them!
FIT
Room to curl up but sleek enough to wear to a pyjama party. The sleeve and leg lengths are designed to be slightly cropped, sitting just on the wrist, and above the ankle, but both are easy to lengthen.
VARIATIONS
Why not crop the legs and sleeves to create a breezy summer pair? Add piping for extra prettiness, or patch pockets to keep your dreams in.

You’ll also need to make some buttonholes. Start with the trousers if you’re a complete beginner and wear them with a t-shirt while you complete the shirt!

LAVENDER ROBE
Our easy to make Lavender Robe is elegant in the bedroom, cosy in the bathroom and glams up nicely as an evening jacket/coat – it all depends on your choice of fabric. The robe is a quick and satisfying make: the wrap-around design is easy to fit and there are no fiddly fastenings. We provide full instructions for French seams to make for a couture finish. An inside loop and tie hold everything in place and avoid any unwarranted un-wrapping!
FIT
Dropped shoulders, bracelet length sleeves, roomy pockets and a loose fit throughout. Wear loose and flowing or cinch as tight as you like with a matching or contrast tie belt.
VARIATIONS
Easily change the length of the hem from sweeping maxi to cropped evening/bed jacket. Make the sleeves full length, ¾ or short. We’ve added roomy pockets, but you could leave them off for a sleeker line. There’s plenty of opportunity to show off some fancy rows of top stitching on the pockets and cuffs.
LEVEL
Easy-peasy – if you’ve never tried French seams before they’re not obligatory but make for a couture finish and we guide you through step by step.
FABRIC
The world is your fabric oyster with this design. It will work well in every kind of cotton from the softest lawn to crisp shirting through to a homespun slub or bouncy double gauze. For a luxuriously slinky robe silk or satin would be a perfect choice. Make a long cardigan version in a Ponte di Roma knit or go for brocade for a stunning evening jacket/coat. While you’re making up your mind make a cosy towelling version for the bathroom or swimming pool!
