ABOUT THE WINTER WARDROBE SERIES
Mon 30th Oct, 6.30-8pm UK TIME
We're kicking off with one of our popular Style Sessions in collaboration with the lovely Fiona from House of Colour. This session will get your creative juices flowing about how to make the current trends in trousers/jackets/jumpsuits work for you.
Sat 4th November, 2-6pm UK TIME
In this 4-hour masterclass we'll will give you all the knowledge and confidence you need to make your trouser-making journey stress-free. Trousers can be very quick and easy to make, once you've got the hang of the fit and styles that really work for you. Just like a pair of trousers - there's two legs to this adventure: the block/sloper and the design. This class will cover both so you'll walk away full of trouser information and inspiration.
Sat 25th November, 2-6pm UK TIME
Let's add a jacket to those trousers and make you a suit! Making your own self-drafted jacket is one of the most satisfying sewing projects you can do - and not nearly as difficult as you might think! This class will show you step-by-step how to transform a bodice block into a variety of finished jacket patterns. From boxy workwear jackets to classic blazers to closely-fitted vintage inspired designs - the world will be your jacket-making oyster!
Sat 9th December, 2-6pm UK TIME
And for our final trick - let's join the trouser and bodice blocks together to create a jumpsuit! From a glamourous halterneck to a practical cover-up - the joy of a one-piece garment reaches into every corner of the wardrobe. If you've never tried one due to fears of saggy crotches or uncomfortable camel toes - we will covert you! If you're a jumpsuit queen already we'll show you endless design possibilities.
The classes will all be recorded if you can't make it live, and everything will be hosted in our online course platform where you can continue to ask questions and share your makes.
